About CASL (Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation)
CASL — the new Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation — further addresses the problem of unsolicited emails. The legislation goes into effect July 1, 2014. Even if your business or organization isn’t in Canada, you should take note — CASL applies to all emails sent to Canada. So if you have any Canadian subscribers, this applies to you!
Does this mean I need to reconfirm all my subscribers?
Since Mad Mimi absolutely prohibits the sending unsolicited email of any kind, you should be in pretty good shape if you’re already adhering to our Terms of Use (and we hope you are!). If so, odds are you do not need to reconfirm all your subscribers. But please read on.
